I recently purchased the IPhone 4S and although I barely know what apps are good to get etc...I did stumble upon My Fitness Pal...I had heard of it from a friend and decided to give it a try. Basically after registering myself and my goals, I just enter in daily what I eat...it tells me how many calories I am able to have in a day and as I enter in the things I ate, it calculates how much I can eat etc...
Yesterday I entered in my day - I am allowed 1220 calories daily to lose the 10 lbs that I want to lose. I only used 1160 calories yesterday with 60 remaining and after I completed my day, my fitness pal told me that I shouldn't under eat and if I keep this up, I will reach my goal in 5 weeks! I don't want to do anything drastic - I just want to drop a couple pounds that I gained from my last pregnancy and kept on. I realize the biggest problem I have is my belly...and the only thing really for me to do is sit ups, so eventually I will start those.
Another big thing that I am starting - limiting my Pepsi intake. I am a pepsi-holic. I try to force myself to drink water while at work and then have 1 pepsi a day before I cut it right out!
Wish me luck!

So far so good with the tracking of my calories etc on Fitness Pal...when I was doing my Thursday Pinterest Fun, I came across this great "cheat sheet" for snacks under 200 calories:

I have been trying to make it a habit to drink lots of water during the day and to make it easier, I add lemon! I am making sure that the kids also drink lots of water, I don't want them to be older and hate water like I do. I fill my container with lemon and water and Tanner, especially, loves it. He prefers drinking water out of my container than in his sippy cup. I have cut back on Pepsi, trying to only have one a day. I never noticed that drinking Pepsi had an effect on the way I slept...but now that I have been drinking more water, I feel like I am sleeping better and feel more refreshed! Yay for water!
