I am an almost 30 year old, small town girl. Everything I need in my life is right in this small town. Family and friends!
What do we do for fun? We host potlucks (due to lack of restaurants).
Where do we shop? Well unless you want to do your groceries at the local corner store and pay $5.00 for a loaf of bread (okay, I may be exagerating a wee bit here) you have to get in your car (or farm truck) and drive about 35 mins to the closest city.
What is considered an attraction in this small town? We have a bar that is pretty booming at times, with live bands on weekends. We have a chipstand that I think some people would consider an attraction. Amusement park - nope. Mall - nope. Oh...we have a ferry!
What would you recommend a tourist bring with them when visiting this small town? BOTTLED WATER...most of the time, our water is not drinkable and that is, if it's even turned on. Our town shuts our water off way too often!
What is happening in my life right now? Drinking lots of lemon water and trying to eat more "clean" food!
