Mother's Day...just another day at my house *sigh*

Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesdays Q&A

This week's questions are all about an upcoming holiday - MOTHERS DAY!

{one} What would be your ideal way to spend Mothers day?
That is easy...a day (or weekend) of total relaxation and pampering.  Massages, facials, hot tubs, chocolate covered strawberries and of course another fellow Mommy to join me for adult conversation!

{two} Which would you rather receive actual gifts or gifts of service?

Gifts are nice but I do like receiving gift cards...especially to this spot!

She @ http://she-she-says.blogspot.com wants to know:
{three}How do you juggle it all? How many different "hats" do you wear and how do you accomplish all you have to do?
I find it hard at times, especially with Maddy being home and a new baby...I didn't think I would but sometimes I just want to be alone.  I sometimes wish I had things to do during the week...once upon a time, we were part of a Women's Craft Night but I quit that...Hubby golfs on Thursday nights and then he has plans on weekends which doesn't give me a break all that much...oh well, I love my kids!!

Vandy @ http://tttandme.blogspot.com/ wants to know:
{four} What was your "Oh no, I'm turning into my mom" moment?
I don't know - when I first had Maddy, none of my friends had kids yet, so anytime being out, it felt like all I had to talk about was Maddy...now though, most of my friends have kids and our conversation always leads to them...we had a bachelorette party on the weekend, the "moms" were sitting together and we talked about potty training and daycares!  My biggest "Mom" moment would be when we would have to buy a Mini Van! LOL!

Natalie @ http://wibblywobblyme.blogspot.com/ wants to know:
{five}What should you be doing right now instead of participating in today's WWTK linky?
Probably attending to my newborn who is laying on the couch beside me cooing away...as I am writing this, I just keep pushing his soother back in his mouth! Haha!

You are very lucky to have a newborn who is happy to lie on the couch cooing while you blog! Enjoy it!

For a long time even when the ex and I were together I did EVERYTHING for the kids and gave up all my me time while he did his things- then the resentment built (over years) and I realized that hey- these kids have 2 parents and one of us gave up our life for them while the other swept in occasionally and when he did watch them it was like he was doing me a huge favor. Not sure if that's the path you are headed on but seeing that he has his golf and his weekend plans sure makes it seem like it- you might want to remind him he's a parent too and split that up a bit so you can rejoin your crafting group or find something else you enjoy- even going out alone for an hour can make a difference.

Total relaxation sounds awfully good.
I could do with a good gift card.

I could definitely do with a few gift cards, I have a list of places where I would love to shop right now!
I try to get out of the house and do things as much as I can. I get too housebound and just want out! Luckily I have a few things that get me out, on occasion. Let's just say I am SO glad the weather is turning nicer.
Aw I miss the newborn days. Too sweet :)

Yes, the dreaded mini-van - I couldn't come up with one specifically, but that would have been a big one for me! Hubby still can't believe he's driving one LOL!
Great answers :)

Tell me about it some days I just want to be by myself! I get lucky when the hubs takes both kids to the store or out of the house for a minute! I LOVE IT!
