Valentine's Day was okay...it's really just another day. I consider Valentine's Day our "anniversary" as I don't remember our first date or anything, but I do recall emailing him for the first time because my subject line was "Happy Non-Valentine's Day" or something along the lines of that...Yesterday, I was home alone, so I prepared spaghetti and homemade strawberry shortcake for my Valentines!
{2} What is your favorite flower? Did your honey get them for you?
I think the first year we were together I received a lovely bouquet of flowers delivered to work...but since then, haven't gotten any. I love Gerber Daisies but really, I would rather than on any other day...Valentine's Day is too cliché and besides, it's a waste of money!
{3} Was Valentine's Day a big deal when you were a kid?
Not at all....I think we would just put our classmates names on those little paper Valentine cards and exchange at school...I remember we would make homemade envelopes that would be attached to our chairs or desks and everyone would just slip your Valentine inside.
{4} Did you put up any Valentine's Day decorations? (bonus points for a picture)
Funny you should ask...I love decorating my house for holidays but being 9 mths pregnant, I didn't have anything. However, I still had these gel cling ons on my front door...and I took the red poinsettia leaves and formed a heart on the front door window. Maddy noticed and said something to me about it when she got home last night...that's all I needed! LOL!
{5} Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions?
Nope - unfortunately no traditions. Maddy sends Valentine treat bags to Daycare...that's about all!

Funny that you mentioned the first time you emailed your honey. When I was dating my husband, there was no such thing as email yet! Wow, I feel older than dirt sometimes!
we really don't have any traditions over here either. I want to start some though!
We tried to have a VDay tradition but it didn't come together this year. I love Gerbera daisies...pretty much any color. They remind me of my mom because she used to have a TON in her yard!
totally agree about flowers being cliche for valentine's day. any other day would be awesome tho.
