We Want to Know Wednesday - Jobs!

1. what is the worst job you have ever had?
I really have only had like 3 jobs in my life and none of them were that bad...but after I got laid off from my company after 6 years (while on Mat leave), I was offered a temp position when my year was up, so I went back and it was horrible...I cried every day and was treated cruelly...needless to say, I didn't last!

2. have you ever been fired?
Nope, but like mentioned above, I was laid off - the day before my mat leave was to start...lovely!

3. what would your dream job be?
That's super easy...a stay at home mom!  I could technically do that but I want the money to be steady...which it is but you can just never have enough!  I like having my own money, so being at home with no income coming in wouldn't be good.  Second, I could go for any job as long as I got to work from home - that would be good too...I have always wanted to do massage therapy!

4. what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
Haha this one makes me laugh because I really don't remember ever wanting to be something specific, but one thing comes to mind.  In Elementary school, we made a class video (cuz we were the grads of 2000) and I said I wanted to be a banker, so I could give people cheques and money!

5. how old were you when you got your first job?
Aside from babysitting, my first REAL job would have been working at the Chipwagon probably when I was 12...I worked there for years during the summer and eventually working at a daycamp (but still the chipwagon on the weekends).

I Love Weekends...especially an extra long one!

This weekend was quite productive I have to say:

Friday night we didn't do anything special...I don't think...bad memory apparently!

Saturday we cleaned out the baby's room and set up the crib.  I went through some stuff that was lingering around the baby's room and brought it to our local Family Center where they take donations and sell them for ridiculously low prices - when I dropped things off Saturday, the clothing counter was actually open (last Saturday of the month) and I bought the baby some sleepers, a pair of overalls, a shirt and a pair of cute shoes...grand total $4.00!  Saturday afternoon/evening, I decided to do some baking...I made some peanut butter balls that went in the freezer for Christmas...and made some butter tarts...

Sunday, Maddy and I went to Church where Little Miss Kenzie was being baptized.  When we came home, I got spaghetti sauce going and cleaned up the house a bit cuz SOME of the family was coming for supper...well it ended up just being two sisters...BIL Butter skipped out (as usual) and had more important things to do (some hockey game)...I was quite upset because he has been soooo busy at work these days (in tire sales) and when we go for our weekly dinner there during the week...he shows up late or as we are leaving so I thought, why not have a nice FAMILY Sunday supper and Butter could come and join us...NOPE!  Oh well...his wife informed me though that he put in a special request for shortbread cookies for Christmas...I guess we'll have to see about that!!  Haha!  We had some spaghetti supper, and my other sister in law brought some homemade yummy Monkey Bread for us to feast upon after supper (and left me the leftovers) and then we played some cards.

Monday we had the day off because I had to go for my glucose test.  It really doesn't bug me.  The orange drink isn't THAT bad...the only thing is I find it makes you really full having to drink such a large amount of the sweet stuff so early in the morning...but whatever...then we had to sit out and wait in the waiting room for an hour then do blood work.  Afterwards we headed up the line to my other sister in law's restaurant where we had a little lunch before heading home and napping - well tried to!  Back to work tomorrow...but at least it's a 4 day week AND it's my Christmas party Thursday after work, so hopefully this week will fly by!
