Weekend Recap - I Wish Weekends Were Longer...

This weekend was a great one - but passed by way too quickly and this morning waking up to the blasting cold weather, I just wanted to go back and hide under my covers...however, I am at work and ready for this week!

Friday night I rushed home from work and headed to the next town over for a Baby Shower for our friend Priscilla who is due roughly in 3 weeks.  We met at a loval cafĂ© and showered her with gifts.

Priscilla on the left - 3 weeks left...Me on the right - 3 months left!
Saturday morning was laundry then we headed out with Maddy to the movie theatre to see Happy Feet Two.  It was a very good movie and she enjoyed it, even though at times she was antsy (but I think that was because she was getting sleepy).  Afterwards, we went looking for our new stroller for Baby Tanner.  We checked Walmart first but found they all looked too cheap.  I didn't really care too much because this is our second baby, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a new stroller, however Hubby was paying so it was his choice (with my opinion of course).  We then headed to Babies R Us where we were tossed between two.  One was a jogging stroller with big rubber wheels, made by Baby Trend (it even had an MP3 hook up and speakers) and an Evenflo one (the only downfall I saw about this was the smaller two front wheels).  After spending about 45 mins deciding, we mutually decided on the Evenflo one (which was more expensive than the high end jogging one).  We were both pleased with our purchase when we brought it home and immediately set it up.  It is a flashy green color but other than that, I love my new stroller.  Saturday evening, we headed up to my Nanny's house to play cards (well I watched) then Maddy and I headed home to bed around 9:00 pm.

Sunday morning we went to watch Hubby play hockey then came home and started cleaning up, going through toys, TRYING to make room in Baby Tanner's room and eventually pulling out the Christmas decorations.  By the time I got the bins downstairs and the decorations out,  I didn't feel like putting the Christmas tree up...however, after a yummy spaghetti supper, Maddy and I decided to pull it out and set it all up.  I have to say, it looks pretty good.  We decided to use our same tree (save our money and wait to get a new pre-lit one next year).

Hope your weekend was as productive as mine....

That's good that Tanner has a stroller! I disagree that it beats me meeting Chris Neil...but I'd probably feel differently if I was having a baby and bought a stroller this weekend. haha!
