Thoughts on Thursday

I am looking forward to this week ending...

I am really sick of hearing about the Twilight hype going on...if you know me, I REFUSE to pick up one of the books or even glance at a movie...my friends have tried to get me into it but I REFUSE...I am not into things like that - sorry Twilight Fans!

Looking forward to dinner and showering our friend Priscilla with baby gifts tomorrow night at her shower for Baby B - to be born soon!

This morning I found out on Facebook that my sister got engaged...good thing for Facebook I guess...she did try calling last night but we got in late and I didn't get to call her back...oh well!  Congrats Shan!

Yesterday I spent my day looking for Christmas gifts and putting things in my imaginary cart online through Chapters and Toys R Us...just have to click "Proceed to Checkout".

I am really looking forward to Christmas this year!

We are taking Maddy to see Happy Feet 2 this Saturday...it was that or Puss and Boots but she wants the penguin one (I will have to try and buy the first Happy Feet seeing how she has never seen it before LOL) - and the bonus, she gets in FREE cuz last night we got a coupon that is good until the end of the year!

Saturday I am also going to buy my new Christmas tree...that has pre-lit lights so I don't have to play around with lights (now if I could only find a tree that as soon as it comes out the box, it POUFFS and I don't have to play with the branches to make it look "full")

Majic 100 has been playing Christmas music since Tuesday and I have to say I was excited at first but after listening to it ALL DAY LONG, it gets to be annoying because it's the same Christmas songs over and over and over....

Today it's calling for FLURRIES - I sorta hope to see some swirling snow later this afternoon.

LOL! I'm with you on the Twilight thing! I'm sooooooooo sick of hearing about it! I don't plan to ever read the books or watch the movies either! I found out about your engagement on Facebook too lol!

Congrats to Shannon! Lots of excitement in your family. I never got into the books, so am not going to any of the Twilight movies. At the risk of alienating Lindsay, Jillian and my daughter Livvie, I think Robert Pattinson is just skinny and creepy looking.
