One more day of sleep would have been nice....LOL
Friday evening Maddy was suppose to have a sleepover at her Aunt's so Hubby and I had a nice supper sans Maddy at St-Huberts then we were on our way home when she called us and wanted to come home...so we turned around and went and got her. When we got home, Maddy and I made some desserts for the weekend and Hubby had a "date" with my 90 year old grandmother playing cards.
Saturday - we headed to Hubby's sister's place to have our Thanksgiving Dinner. I took Maddy and my neice to Michaels in the afternoon to paint a pumpkin and then did some shopping. We went into the Children's Place and bought Baby Tanner a new outfit with matching hat! It felt soooo weird going into a store and not going to the girl stuff...and I had a hard time finding baby boy clothes - they had lots of older outfits but not sleepers and the selection isn't quite as good as the girls stuff.
Saturday evening after dinner, we headed to Cobden for a Benefit Party they were holding for our buddy Tyler (who has leukemia and is currently in Toronto). The place was FILLED and they definetly had a GREAT turnout. They had local people playing music, brought in some kids that square danced, held a silent auction and then after that closed, a live auction! Very good turnout!
Sunday we went to Church and then to my parent's for another Thanksgiving dinner. I am not a fan of turkey so two days of dinner was enough for me. Everyone was playing cards and I finally ducked out around 8:00 pm to go home and finish decorating a cake I was to have done for Monday - which I didn't get any pictures of - boo me!
Monday we did nothing but lounge in our jammies at home all day. We did manage to clean out the baby's room and go through some of Maddy's clothes to see if I could salvage ANY sleepers etc...that weren't pink! We managed to get 4 pairs of sleepers, some undershirts and lots of socks. We even found some new receiving blankets not even opened and got all the hooded towels out.
How was your weekend??
