Welcome March
Well yesterday was a Snow Day for me...woke up in the morning to some pretty nasty weather - freezing rain and then heavy snow. When the snow finally did stop, I think we accumulated much more than the 8 cm they recorded in Ottawa.
This past weekend was pretty quiet. Friday night our Book Club met and discussed The Kite Runner. I however, did not read this book, so I went for the munchies...sat right beside the nachos and salsa and just ate. The book did have lots of good discussion but still don't think I am going to read it. The next book, I sorta have to read I guess seeing how I will be leading the discussion.
Saturday I went to visit my good friend Josee who just had the misfortune of losing her baby. She is such a strong person to have gone through what they did but she will get better. She will have her hard times and her sad times but she knows she has a great support system behind her...with that being said, let's all remember:
Liam Evan Prest born February 25th, 2011 at 11:56 pm (not 100% correct on this time but it's close) - he was 6 inches long and weight 290 grams (which is 0.6 lbs I believe).
Sunday - Maddy and I attended Church, made some paper lilies (which were to be given to your mommy or grandma or something after Church - and my lovely daughter gave mine away to Caden and Danica's mommy...nice...oh well LOL). After Church, we ran home and grabbed some stuff and headed to the Lions Hall where we went to celebrate Mr. Dryden Frobel's 1st Birthday Party. It was a great opportunity to bring Maddy's Plasma Car and let the kids all whirl around the big hall with it.
Jen - if you are reading this, I hope Ryan wasn't too sad when we left with the car...the poor thing was soo upset! I am sure he got over it fast.

Monday - being a snow day - we got to stay home and well we didn't do much. Hubby was upstairs ALL DAY running back and forth between the TV and the computer to check the updates for the Trade Deadline...I mean seriously, the guy must have lost about 10 lbs with all the up and running back and forth. Maddy I made some cookies, painted some ceramics and went outside and shoveled (which I might add, I thought I was going to die...this SHOULD have been the Man of the House's job, but hey - Trade Deadline - DO NOT DISTURB. Thank God I just had to do the walk way and Dad came and plowed the rest out!)
Anyways hope everyone had a great weekend too!
