Free Stuff - Thrifty Thursdays

With a title like this, I am sure I will get lots of hits today!  Starting today and every Thursday, I will post a link that will take you to get a free sample of something, coupons or a great deal - I will call it Thrifty Thursdays!!

Last weekend when the ladies were gathered at Book Club, we were discussing saving money, using online shopping, shopping using award points etc...and I mentioned that I get free samples of just about everything in the mail. 

My cousin Lindsay's eye's nearly popped out of her head...she is cheap frugal and she couldn't believe she hadn't heard of this before!  Haha!  Hope this helps Linds and everyone else - here are a few starters (disclaimer: do not blame me if you don't get your products...I just find the sites, however I will have tried them myself and hope to get the products - and I think that they are good for my USA friends too but not 100% sure on that!)

PG Everday Savings is one site that I came across and if you go to the section called "PG Brand Sampler" click on START SAVING.  You basically enter all your information and what samples you would like and they start sending.  They will keep you updated with new samples via email and you get to click and choose which ones you want sent home.  Sometimes it's coupons, and other times it's actual samples.  I love getting the mail when I know these are arriving.

I have a drawer in my bathroom with all my freebies.  I have received tons of Pantene shampoo and conditioner, soaps, razors, shaving cream, mouth wash, Crest Whitestrips.  I have also received Clorox Disinfectant wipes, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, Mr Clean Magic Erasers...the list keeps going on.  These are great for trial periods but they are also great cuz they are FREE!!

Similac Welcome Pack is something for new mom's.  I signed up for this when I was pregnant with Maddy and they sent me a Similac bag that was useful to carry around bottles and stuff when we were travelling.  They also sent a full can of Similac powder formula to try.  I had this free can of formula so when I switched Maddy from breastfeeding to formula, I just tried that one because it's what I had, and she took to it. 

Free Sample of Nikwax Footwear Cleansing Gel is something I just came across - all you have to do is go to the Quiz, and fill in the answers (which are practically given to you by clicking on CLUE) and they will send you a free sample of cleansing gel.  We'll see if I get mine!!

Heinz Baby is offering a Free Nutrition Pack when you register.  You will get cereal sample, coupons, nutrition guide, food journal, shopping checklist and a growth chart.
